On 18th December, 6th class had a visit from Gareth, a civil engineer who works as a lecturer in DKIT. The class learned that engineers solve problems and there are many different types of engineers. The class then got the opportunity to become engineers and designed bridges in groups. Their designs had to go through a strength test using weights. Cheers and gasps filled the room as bridges stood strong or collapsed under pressure. The class showed great collaboration and problem solving skills. Thank you to Gareth for the visit. We had great fun!
