The New Primary Curriculum

We produced this image in the Digitized House studio as a featured image for an editorial piece entitled “5 approaches to make digital assistants a partner in your kids’ education.” We wanted to give a flavor of digital assistant-aided schoolwork, so what better way than to use a stack of school books, an iPad Pro in a saturated blue Snugg case, an Apple Pencil, a multicolored Lego ruler, a Google Home Mini processing a command, and a red apple encircled by the Google Home power cord. We lit the composition with a large softbox powered by a Godox AD200 flash. Focal plane in foreground.. Photo by Thomas Kolnowski, Unsplash.

There is a new primary school curriculum which will be phased in next year across every primary and special school in Ireland.

This curriculum sets out what children should learn and how they can learn it in school.

To support parents and guardians in understanding the changes taking place in our schools over the coming years, a leaflet has been developed.

You can read an English information leaflet for parents by clicking here and here.

The leaflet is also available to download in multiple language by clicking here.
