We know choosing childcare can be very stressful for Parents, that’s why, we here in St. Nicholas Pre-school will make your choice very easy.
We provide a fun, caring and homely environment for your children to thrive and develop.
Child led learning is vitally important in the early years, so in accordance with this we follow the Aistear curriculum, ie play – based, and built on each child’s individual interest.
We participate in the Early Childhood care and Education scheme. This provides children aged 2 years and 8 months or older by August 31st on the year of entry with two free years of Pre-school.
Every child has a right to a rich learning opportunity that is important for their development and well-being.
We see Parents as partners and this is why we bring you along on your child’s day, with video’s and photos of your child’s activities.
We open from 9.15am – 12.15pm, from September through to June. ( Holidays inclusive)
We have 3 full-time staff members and 1 relief staff member.
The children see the same staff every day, we feel this is imperative for young children for routine, security and for building relationships. All of our staff have at least 15 years working in Early Childhood Education, and have a love for their job. This can be seen in our low level of staff turnover.
Here in St. Nicholas Pre-school, we understand the importance of Outdoor play for children’s physical development and mental wellbeing. This is why we have put a lot of effort into our outdoor area. We provide tricycles, construction area, sand and water area and lots more.
We would love for you to join us, and to have your little one to start their Early Years Education with us.
