5th have been very busy since returning to school. They have been enjoying learning about their local area of Dundalk by looking at old photos of Dundalk and investigating what has changed and what has stayed the same. They visited the local museum to look at the many artefacts in their exhibits. The children really enjoyed the exhibit about Industry in Past as they spent some time learning about this in class. They have engaged in a few STEM challenges this month. One challenge was to make an item that is useful for the local community. Some of the items made included a bin, cat house and community camera.
