Mrs. Trainor, Mrs. Reidy and Ms. Lloyd's classes enjoyed a visit to the Armagh Observatory and Planetarium. This was part of the Peace Plus Shared Project that our school is invovled with. We were joined by Grange and Killowen Primary Schools. First the children entered the Dome and watched an amazing immersive production about the solar system. They got to ask some questions too. The children had a look around the exhibition. They also were challenged to make rockets out of plastic bottle, masking tape and paper. Then the rockets were launched using a special machine. This trip was very enjoyable for both pupils and staff!
