This week 3rd class had a fun class election! Firstly, we learned all about how elections in Ireland work. We also learned how to vote and learned new terms such as polling station and ballot paper. Four candidates then went up for election in our class. The four candidates did super work preparing a poster and a speech . Each candidate spoke about what they would like to do for their class and school. The speeches were very impressive! The children then voted and Zara was elected as the winner. The children really enjoyed learning about voting in Ireland.
